Tailor is a tradeskill in WildStar which can be learned as soon as the character reaches lvl 10. Tailors generally create light armor, which can only be worn by Spellslingers and Espers.
The tailor uses cloth collected from the Survivalist gathering skill to craft light armor. Tailoring uses Relic Hunting materials in a limited fashion when making bags.
Tailor-crafted gear may provide certain bonuses that are currently not available outside the tailor-tree (though are likely available in higher areas). E.g. Darkspur Darkboots provide 7% increased dash speed and a 4% movement speed buff for 4 seconds after dashing. The quality of the item is dependant on the quality of the Power Core. Crafted items that are salvaged may provide Power Cores as well as other materials from a previous tier level. Savalged items will also break down into runecrafting supplies. Below are the items required to complete each Tech Tree level. The amount of items needed are not listed as it varies due to success or failure rate. For more information, see Tradeskill and Circuit Board Crafting .

Talents[]
Talent points are earned by advancing through the Tech Tree. There are currently 10 levels of talents and players may only choose one item from each level. Each tradeskill (excluding gathering skills, which are not included) has basically the same talent options, however material icons may vary.

In Open-Beta / Pre-Order[]
This section applies to WildStar Pre-Release
There appears to be no cap on Tailoring in the open-beta / pre-order period, though higher level materials are prohibitively difficult to farm. Currently, Whimfiber clothes can be easily made, while it is quite difficult to create Manaweave armor. For the current beta (at time of level cap 20), only Apprentice level armor can be worn by players.
Notes for good areas for farming Material via scavenging in Beta:
Exiles side
Fine Thread and Silk Thread - See Kriton's Command Post, Tempest Refuge, Crimson Base of Operations, Staging Point, Control Site: Focus of Air, Temple of Osiric
Whimfiber and Magethread - See Stormwing Fortress and areas of Whitevale (although the level discrepancy makes this more difficult)
Elemental Signs - See rare drops from Stormtalon's Lair, Kel Voreth, Thundercall Village, and Stormwing Fortress
