Signature is the new premium service for WildStar. It started September 29th, 2015 and replaces the subscription model that had been in place since the game launch in 2014. Here are some of the key points:
- Signature service can be acquired through the game or the website, depending on whether or not there is saved payment information on the account and Two-Step Verification enabled.
- If an account does not have a saved payment information, Signature service can be acquired through the account management section of the WildStar website.
- If an account does have a stored payment method but does not have Two-Step Verification enabled, Signature service can only be acquired through the website.
- If an account does have both a stored payment method, and Two-Step Verification has been enabled, Signature service is acquired through either the in-game store or the website.
Players will be able to use C.R.E.D.D to purchase signature service. The cost of this service, regardless of how it is obtained, will also generate Comic Reward points to be added to the players Reward meter located at the top of the in-game store window. The amount of points generated through the use of C.R.E.D.D. will be significantly lower than for players who purchase Signature service using real currency (1000 Cosmic Points rather than 3000).
Signature accounts get everything provided by the Free service, along with the unique bonuses and benefits detailed below. Signature accounts require a payment plan offered in 1-, 3-, 6-, and 12-month increments including C.R.E.D.D., Game Time Card, or recurring payments. Signature and Free Account players will play on the same servers and both will have open access to most of the same game content. There may however be new content and full expansions in the future that are only available via purchase.
As an added bonus, Signature players will also recieve Cosmic Points each month with bonus points added for using the 3, 6 and 12 month payment plans. Once a player enrolls in a recurring Signature Plan, Cosmic Points are awarded to the player after the initial transaction is complete, and then each time the Signature Plan is renewed. For example, with a three-month plan, Cosmic Points are awarded every three months starting from the initial billing date.
